Uman Tok Sierra Leone is a local organisation that provides reproductive health awareness, education, and sustainable feminine health kits. We empower women and girls to discover their potential and self-value so that they can thrive, grow, contribute to the betterment of their communities and have more dignity, health and economic opportunity. The Uman Tok organisation is a non-partisan, non-political, non-religious, national Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO)

Uman Tok envisions a well-informed gender equal world where children reach their full potential by staying in school with heightened knowledge on Sexual and Reproductive Health education and access to affordable sustainable menstrual health options; a world where parents, guardians and communities are empowered to model informed healthy practices that align with their values and goals.

Our mission is to reverse the cycle of poverty among women and girls by raising the awareness among children about the unique challenges of adolescents and, to enlighten women, men and communities about their roles in human development right from childhood through adolescence by providing programs that will lead to sustainable empowerment
